Sameer Malik

I am a 5th-year Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Economics, University of Houston.

My primary research interests include International Trade, Labor, Development, & Public Policy.

Currently, I am working as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Center for Public Policy, Hobby School of Public Affairs. From February-August 2023, I worked as an Economic Research and Statistics Division Intern at the World Trade Organization (WTO). 

Before joining the University of Houston in 2019, I completed my Masters from Delhi School of Economics in 2018. From 2018-19, I worked as a Research Associate at the National Council of Applied Economic Research.
